I find this so sickening. It's distcusting, every last bit of it. To me, it doesn't matter whether they say :well, the horse is euthanized, it can't feel it, and yet its moving: or that they say :we do it as humanily as we can: i hate it. I hate every last bit of it. No horse should ever EVER have to go through such torture. These are beautiful, majestic animals, and should be out running around, playing, having food, and water, and most of all. Love. Its discusting. Like, it costs 60 bucks to put down a horse, but all its about is money. Money this, money that, it sickens me to death. These horses should be either put down or adopted. We need to stop horse slaughter all together. ALL OF IT> Down to the number put on them for slaughter. I just hate it. I love horses with all my heart, and to me, every horse should be veiwed as a beautiful animal, and as having feelings. I buggs me so much when someone whips a horse or slaps it and it screams and i say quit it its hurting them and all they say is, its just a animal, it doesnt hurt it. They dont even have feeling. To me theses people are complete idiots. I hope you all feel as strongly about this as i do. Thank you for letting me express myself.

Thanks to all that have made this site a reality! Here in Montana, during our last legislative session; we battled against HB418, a bill which would have ensured a horse slaughter plants construction. The bill actually passed when Govenor Schweitzer ignored it when it came to rest on his desk. However, the wise folks of Hardin, Montana put in place restrictions, making the plants operations prohibitive. Most genuine thanks to everyone for taking action against horse slaughter. I am sickened and saddend everyday knowing that horses are slaughtered. I own a horse sanctuary and our horses, many destined for slaughter will never have to endure pain, suffering or fear. They will live out their lives with care, compassion and love. I pray that horse slaughter will one day end.

Horse Slaughter is a DESPICABLE INDUSTRY!! IT IS NOT A NECCESSARY EVIL. Breeders WHO ARE GREEDY AND UNCARING BENEFIT AND IRRESPONSIBLE HORSE OWNERS. GENUINE PEOPLE WHO TRULY CARE FOR THE WELFARE OF THEIR HORSES DO NOT SEND THEM DOWN THE SLAUGHTER PIPIELINE!I AM SICKENED THAT THIS ARCHAIC, BARBARIC INDUSTRY HAS NOT ENDED YEARS AGO. I WILL DO ALL I CAN TO STOP THE SUFFERING OF OUR BELOVED HORSES, AS LONG AT IT TAKES.

I have just read 24 comments from you readers and i now feel more positive about our fight against the disgraceful slaughter of our friends. I have just began to educate people around me about the horrors of horse slaughter. I've been shocked by the amount of so called "HORSE PEOPLE" that justify the slaughter. Thank you for sharing my vision!
