How anyone, whether you eat the meat or not, thinks after viewing the horrid/disgusting/brutal torture of horses from auction,transport then to slaughterhouse (kill floor), would want ANYTHING to do with this dirty rotten industry. It continues to blow my mind, that it is still happening at auctions. The ones taking their horses there 'thinking' they will get another wonderful home are so terribly fooled!! WAKE UP! The best way to assure they NOT go for slaughter is to no longer allow that transportation & in Canada we are working hard to shut them down!! NOW...stop the transport to slaughter outside the U.S. The kill buyers alone are rotten, srupulous men with absolute total disrespect of animals. HOW & Why they continue to work with animals?? THEY need to be charged & you are right Sandra, law inforcement/spca etc. at ALL auctions for ALL animals. Guess we continue to babysit the 'human race' for violations...

Europeans who eat American horse meat should think long and hard before they ingest the drugs that come with the meat. American horsemeat is not tested by any agency run by the government, so no one knows how toxic each carcass is when it gets to the consumer. Buyers BEWARE!
